Unwritten

Time is just so crazy. But I'm happy. Don't get me wrong on that.

I'm still waiting for a job offer from Sykes. I think they probably were taken aback with my humongous basic pay request that was non negotiable.

Yup. I'm more demanding now. Tee-hee!

I don't feel bummed out at all though. Why?

When one of my close friends went to another country I felt very sad and lonely but I knew that she's going to be fine. Things happened one after another and slowly... we drifted apart. The great surprise was when my mom went to heaven, God gave me back so many things I though I have lost forever. Losing your mom is a tragedy, right? But it turned into a different sunshine.

Not that I feel lost or away from my mom. Believe it or not, I feel her so strongly everyday that I know she never left at all. She's even closer. Much closer. And everywhere. The bonus was I gained and lost and gained again my real self.

I have alot to thank God for these blessings that are streaming forth. My boyfriend and live in partner LD and his wonderful family. My friends who came back like Rhein, Kath, Josette, Eday, Momo and Isey. They may not know it but their presence made a HUGE difference.

Currently, I'm a full time business woman and part time housewife.

Not glamorous at all like when I was an operations supervisor for Spirit Air. Still, its so much better. I have time for myself and I need not worry about my deadlines and stats too much! I still keep contact with my agents and I think they've learned alot from me and that's all that matters.

Life is not all sugary sweet but it isn't getting any worse. I still fervently pray for my sister to see the light but that's another story.

Let me take this opportunity to invite you to check out our shoes and bags for sale. I'm still working on my multiply business site but while it aint running yet please do call or sens an sms to 0916 247 6161 for any inquiries. And yes, we're syill looking for adoptive parents for our 3 little kitties.

If you haven't heard of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" then you can listen it on one of my uploaded tracklists.

And remember... the rest is still unwritten. It's never too late to start over again.

For inquiries on our shoes and bags for sale or the FREE kitties with shots we'll be giving away to qualified adoptive parents you can reach us at:

*** My cat Siopao has finally given birth to 4 angelic kitties! But we have no space for 4 more kittens. =(
Its quite sad.

*** Currently, we'e looking for possible parents who can adopt a kitten on their hearts and homes.

*** The kittens will be sent to their adoptive families after 2 months when they're strong enough to live without their mom. At this point, we're pnly looking for possible parents who can take care of the kittens as much ---if not more than--- as we took care of the kittens' parents Champ and Siopao.

Uh-Oh! Changes Ahoy!

I left my job at Wels. I pushed through with my resignation. I can't commit because of my too complicated life. Things being in my control but still, for some mundane reason, reamins uncontrollable. LD is going to Dubai in a few months and I'm ready to be a housewife and start a new business. I'm scared but excited. I'm silently praying that he breezes through all exams. If he makes it, I'm sure our life will have a brighter twist.

Then I received an invitation from a call center company for a team leader position. Again! This isn't the first time it happened. It seems I'm being pulled again to the field I know like the back of my hand.

Will I grab it this time?

I'm not sure. If I knew I could work I wouldn't have left the academy and continue being a teacher.

I miss my students sooo much.

Changes are roaring from afar. It's coming but I'm holding on to God's strong firm grip.

He knows me. I trust Him completely.

***Recently, all I ever did was go online, chat and play Mario Kart on DS. I've been so addicted to it! Oh gosh!

After this blog expect my hands on the DS yet again.

***Para kay LD***

Sometimes I wonder where I've been
Who I am, do I fit in.
Make believin' is hard alone
Out here on my own
We're always proving who we are
Always reaching for that rising star
To guide me far, and shine me home
Out here on my own
When I'm down and feelin' blue,
I close my eyes so I can be with you.
Baby be strong for me,
baby belong to me
Help me through,
help me need you
Until the morning sun appears
Making light of all my fears,
I dry the tears I've never shown
Out here on my own
But when I'm down and feelin' blue
I close my eyes so I can be with you
Oh baby be strong for me,
baby belong to meHelp me through,
help me need you.
Sometimes I wonder where I've been,
Who I am,
do I fit in.
I may not win,
but I can't be thrown,
Out here on my own.
Out here on my own.
***Drama kung drama di ba?!?! Hehehe. Well, if you don't know the song then wait for me to sing it in the videoke on our next get together. Mabuhay ang mga 80's babies!

Babae, gusto mo bang maging Filipina?

This is a very painful blog.

I had a few things to do in school so I ended up surfing the net for just the heck of it. I've been surfing through pet sites, email sites, manga sites until... I stumbled into a Filipina escort service site.

What I saw made me very sad.

Really.

I'm at a loss of words. Seeing all those young Pinay women, half naked with descriptions such as "Fantastic boobsy 36-25-36 University student. This chinita will make you feel hot. Good performer", made feel a deluge of emotions. It's like my inner Pinay started to sob silently for them.

I have no prejudice against these young women. But I feel so sad. If only I can help them!

My boyfriend told me that prostitution is one of the oldest plagues on earth. A plague that we can never rid off. A sore that never heals even through all this time.

I'm a Pinay whose proud of my race, my heritage, my tradition and my identity. A Filipina not only in features but in soul.

But... now... I don't know.

Now, I dare you to try this, type FILIPINA in any search engine and you'd see that the first sites that match will be adult sites.

Like meat in the wet market, Filipinas are sold.

You ask yourself "Babae, gusto mo bang maging Filipina?"

My Thought for the Week

The entrance of August has given me ALOT of lessons. One of them was this:

I remember LD saying yesterday while playing Nintendo DS with Ate Mae "There's no place for second place." We all burst into laughter but come to think of it, nobody wants to be taken for granted.

A Different Twist

"The waterfall is alot like life. It goes up and goes down. It's your choice how you see it. If you stay positive it can be alot like this waterfall. Breathtakingly beautiful."

I woke up at 11:30Am, earlier than usual, with a heavy heart. I unfastened Steve's leash and let him play in the bed. I sat up thinking that this is it. This is the time I will finlly talk to my superior about my thoughts.

I went out of the room and turned on the computer. I stared blankly at the screen. Then I pulled up Word Office and started typing my resignation letter.

It was a rainy day (due to Marce) and I feel the heaven's tears. I hailed a taxi and I went to Wels at 1:35Pm.

I quickly talked to my boss' secretary and I waited for my boss to call my name.

After my boss talked to Lynn (my student) she called my attention and asked me to stay in the room.

I gave her my resignation letter.

But she declined it. She told me the pros and cons of resigning and told me about my students waiting for me everyday. She told me my performance was good and that my students gave me high scores on the evaluation.

So, I retracted my resignation and stayed.

I went to Podium with Lynn and had a great time with her at The Singing Room. We danced and sang. We had alot of fun.

We came back to the academy at 6pm. I almost cried when she hugged me for the last time. She's leaving tomorrow afternoon.

Today, I felt a torrent of emotions.

Things came out right... but different from what I was prepared to accept.

God gave me yet another different twist.

***Random Thoughts***

This is what my screen looks like prior to writing this blog.
Fixing old lesson plans and messages I haven't filed while listening to Musiq Soulchild's song aptly entitled "Love".
*sigh*
Last Monday I attended Jhen and Erick's wedding with Dhang, Kath and LD. I was teary eyed when the judge began reading the marriage rites and I was surprised when Dhang started crying ahead of me.
We love Jhen so much and being her two friends whom she chose to be her wedding's witness is a great honor for both of us. After the reception at Max's we drove to Manila to meet Rhein and Ashley. She's soo cute! They invited us at Margaux's birthday. Haay! Kainan ulit!
I realized alot of things at Jhen's wedding.
We don't always get what we want. That sucks ofcourse! But if you think about it everything you want isn't everythimg you need. Life can be a pleasant surprise if you let God lead you the way.
I remember Jhen, Eric and Sean's smiles. I also remember Rhein and Ashley's laughter. Its nice to know that in a world of uncertainties there's still one thing that never changed.
GOD.
And He never lets you go even when you've let Him go.
I came home last night and felt so thankful that He gave me LD. LD told me when we were lying in bed and waiting for sleep to come "Alam mo ang bait ni Eric. Gusto ko uminom kasama cla ni Eugene. Sa kasal natin Jollibee na ang reception ah."
I can't help but smile.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DIZON'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***Here we Go on Trabaho Blues***

I love this picture! Haay! I've gained a whopping 30lbs. Ngayon, I'm not dieting pero I've decided not to eat red meat na (like pork and beef). Puro fish, chicken (konti) and vegetables. Hehehe! Yes! I'm learning to eat vegetables.
My only concern now is my job. I was offered twice my salary in another company. Pero teacher pa din ako at believe it or not, I have the same salary when I was a call center team leader.
You can see my small eyes turning into the money sign after I received the email! I was sooooo tempted. Pero I would miss my students and my colleagues. My boss is wonderful din. Kaya hirap ako mag-decide.
Right now, I feel so torn dahil I'm taking on a big step.
What do you think?

Falling Inlove Again and Again and Again...

I'm happy. I haven't thanked God enough for all these wonderful gifts he gave me. My life is far from perfect but I feel contented. Why the 50 First Dates picture? Well, my student Eun Me's ringtone is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from this movie. Whenever I hear it I just feel so much better.
I know I'm far from the end of my rainbow but I' getting there... =)

Black Out

Its a mellow day today.
After the storm Frank urged officials to suspend classes on June23-24, I sit here in front of my office computer pondering about my life and my choices.
OO, MAY PASOK KAMI SA KOREAN ACADEMY.
Kaya andito ako nagpapaka-jologs at nagmumuni.
I remember the movie I watched with LD and his family at Gateway. Kungfu Panda. Sabi dun ni Uguay "There are no accidents."

The Day I Knew

Today marks our 8th month together.

And I'm very happy.

Its different. I've been in and out of many relationships in the past and finally, I've found someone who doesn't complete me BUT compliments me. I'm whole in my very essence and the pure love of people who REALLY care helps me keep going. I'm no wretched individual anymore.

Today, I knew...

Thank you Lord for LD.

LD, thank you for complimenting my life and making it better.

Little Wonders

I'm at work as we speak. My new job is to teach Koreans English personally and via phone. I work from 2pm to 11pm. It's not so difficult as it seems. My previous job as a callcenter operations supervisor is way harder. If only way harder can't be stressed more.

Well, I have a bratty 17 year old kid and a beautiful 27 year old woman as my personal students and about 15 - 20 phone students. Not bad for my first week.

How am I?

Pretty good. I'm alot better than I was before. I remember the tagline "Me- only better!" of a popular teeny bopper magazine. It made me write this mature blog. How's that from a teeny mag?

My life has changed so much. In the past I bask with the fact I've never been vacant when it comes to my lovelife. One month is a long wait already. I realized now that during those times I was flirty I just simply don't have self respect. You can be admired by many but it really wouldn't matter. In the end you'll still be yearning for that one person who can brighten your day just by smiling or saying I love you.

I'm happy with LD. I don't know if he reads this but I sure hope he does.

He's the best thing that happened in my life and finally, my heart is at rest. I stare at him sometimes when he's asleep. Then I lean under the bed and ask a semi-sleeping Steve "Siya na, noh?". Steve just stares at me as if saying "Alam mo na yan...".

I thrive in the company of my pets, my foster family the Tomelden's, my loyal friends from old school and ofcourse, LD. Many times I wished my Nanay can see me now but I know, wherever she is, she has found a space in her heart to forgive me for all my shortcomings and she's very happy to see me live my dreams slowly.

I hope Marj will see her dreams come true and hopefully its not too late.

They say we only pass this path called Life once.

As I pass my road you will definitely hear me humming a tune.

Yes.

Masaya ako. =)

_Splash_

No. This is not about a swimming gimik I've attended. This is not a happy blog either.

My cat Splash died last night. She was attacked AGAIN by the same pitbull. She died on the spot. Her remains were thrown into a canal by the pitbull owner... and LD just watched.

What is more painful? My cat dying or people not caring if she died?

(Steve and Splash: Steve was still recovering from surgery and Splash visited)
I nursed my cat even when she was a little kitten. I gave her and her siblings milk thrice a day. Their mother was killed by, yes, the very same pitbull that killed Splash and attacked Steve twice.

As a pet owner myself, I make sure my pets don't harm others. Its a responsibility.

Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same.

And as the song "Take a Picture" by Filter plays in my background I remember the little cat that jumped into my feet every morning and purred while she gingerly lay in bed.
Splash, I know wherever you are, God keeps you safe and loved.
I'll miss you.

Aguadilla

My team at Spirit Air. Team Aguadilla. They're the 2nd team I handled. My 1st was Team Panama. I miss my agents. I hope on the short span of time I've spent with them they've learned atleast something from me.
(L-R; top-bottom) Happy (my CRT), Rhonn (my Ms. Santa Clause) , Tin (my FHM hot momma), Dyan (my Ms.Taray), Gibo (my Mr.Friendster), Gboi (my handsome little nightmare), Ymil (my hot dancer) and Chabot (my irate agent).

I miss the guys who are not on the pic, too. Mamu (my ancient agent), Edgie (my AUX 2 addict), Gee (my rocker), Cathe (sweet girl), Dayna (Makeover girl), Jan (BUNTIS), Wyeth, Lyn and Bo. SYEMPRE SI BESTFRIEND MIKE KO!
As Spirit Air gets blown by the wind, the bond that we have will remain.

The Hero

He promised that even if we didn't go to the beach he'll be treating me out on a nice dinner movie. We watched "The Ironman" and ate a huge meal at KFC. I'm sooo addicted to Famous Bowl! I had a wonderful date with LD and we even have Hotshots to-go for Steve, Champ, Siopao and Splash. My dog Steve sleeps with us along with my 3 cats and 2 hamsters. When we came home they all jumped like crazy!

So how am I now?

Mabuti. Masaya.

I miss Nanay and Marj.
Alam kong malaki ang responsibilidad ko sa kanila and I know I have my own faults.

As days pass, God slowly heals my badly broken soul.

He washed away the hatred, the pain and the depression.

I just recently lost my job as a TL. Tapos my dog was attacked by a pitbull and had surgery. My sister ran away and I gained 15lbs.

God has a way of turning things around. Just when I thought I was going to be depressed all my life. he saved me.

I'm having alot of good job offers, my dog can run again and I'm losing weight. Although not everything I want is not in order, I know God meant things that way. Things will happen in His own perfect time.

I remember Ironman's last words in the movie "The truth is... I'm Ironman."

Well, tonight I'll be attending my friend Mae's (24/7) birthday at Greenhills.

On Pitbull Attacks and Fatness Level

This was supposedly an ordinary day.
I woke up and noticed LD had gotten up earlier than me (which happens alot). Groggily walked down the stairs and he greeted me with a smile. He asked me "Kain na tayo?" and I said "Maya na..." It was a typical scenario on a typical day. I went to Steve's farout corner and he smiled (well, I always think he does although he doesn't seem like doing it). Steve licked my hand and tried to jump on my open hand.
After lunch LD and I took him for an afternoon walk and we played under the hot sun. I completely ignored the fact that I was going for the flawless white look (blame it on my whitening pills business) and played with Steve. A few minutes later another dog owner took their pet pitbull (a big black one!) and their mixed breed (I insist they won't be called "askal" because they don't live on the streets anymore) for a walk alongside us. My 11 month old Jack Russell (true to his breed) is always jumpy and hyperactive and started barking to the dog with the mixed breed. My little Steve has always been highly territorial and never passes an oppurtunity to defend "his" land. The two dogs were exchanging not very friendly snarls but I held on to my dog's leash tightly. I noticed the pitbull was inquisitive as well and tried to check out what the commotion was all about by tugging on his own leash. Then it happened. The pitbull's leash cracked and split. He charged into my dog's direction. I let go of my dog's leash so he can defend himself and the other dogs' owner ran off to call on the other owner who knows how to calm down the pitbull. The next thing I knew there were 2 large dogs against my little dog. I thought he was a goner! My bf bravely went into the dog pile and scruffed my Steve by the neck. The other owner of the pitbull came and calmed their pet. It took about 20min before the rumble stopped. And yes, I've been shrieking and crying out for help and silently praying all at the same time.
The end result? The pitbull has a bleeding leg (who would've thought my little dog can injure that massive dog?), the mixed breed has scratches and my Steve with 4 bitemarks. All were bruised and angry but safe. Its safety that matters anyway. The pitbull owners were nice an they apologized profusely for the mishap claiming their pitbull only killed cats (yup, killed) but we apologized as well since their pitbull wasn't in a good shape either. The pitbull's blood has stained the pavement and the dog seemed to be dazed for a bit after the fight.
I hugged my Steve tightly and scolded him for being such a nasty brute but I kissed him, too. He was such a brave dog! The fight was lopsided on the pitbull's end but he fought like a tiger AND survived (which is a miracle!!!).
I therfore conclude (science experiment?) that dogs have nine lives.
Above all I realized God's blessing in every little detail. There is no really such a thing as a typical day. Being alive is so great! Its just us who always have routine. But the world itself... goes on.
*P.S I think dogs pray, too. After the incident I gave my dog a pillow and some old clothes for his bedding. I knew he was tired so I thought to make him comfy. Before I left his dog house I prayed and thanked God for giving Steve another chance. When I opened my eyes to look at him he slowly opened his eyes, too. I guess he prayed with me...

What is LOVE

Its the first time I'll be writing about my thoughts on this. And I want this to be the last as well.
I'm never good at being blunt and you can expect this blog will have emotions mildly said but heavily poured.
I'm hurt. Deeply.
When my Nanay passed away I thought I'll never be hurt more than the pain of losing her. Until now I cry over her. I have my own faults and I feel greatly burdened by the memory of her crying while waving goodbye when I left for Manila on January 2007. That was the last time I felt her hug and kiss. There was no more after that.
My sister Marjorie was all I have left.
Sadly, like water dreams, my dreams of seeing her graduate school and have a good future faded.
She claims she was inlove.
I asked "What is love?"
I've been through horrible storms and I learned that love, in its truest and purest essence, is simple. Uncomplicated.
Love will never reap anything ill. It will hurt, yes, but it will ALWAYS create goodness in the end.
If lying to your family, getting bad grades, drinking excessively, making your body a sex wanton, running away at 16 years old without a highschool diploma and any chances of getting a job is love...
Then I'd rather feel hatred.
If our love is untrue to you...
I sincerely hope you find it in him.
P.S I hope your kids will not be problem children.

I hate the fact I wrote this blog but I have to...

Yes.
As the title itself means.
I HATE THE FACT I WROTE THIS BLOG...
I'm in a relationship with a great guy who loves me dearly and puts me on a pedestal.
I'm his princess. And he's my prince.
Then here goes a typical sleepless night...
Its 2am. Everybody in the household except for my hamsters (and other commonly unwelcomed nocturnal household settlers) is asleep. I took a warm bath, prepared myself a nice cup of tea and settled on a comfy chair in front of the computer. Suddenly (out of nowhere or maybe from the deep ends of my soul) the nagging feeling of urgency to check on an old flame came into me. He's not my friend on friendster so I had to search him on the header. . Ang shunga ko talaga. Nakalimutan ko his sister is my friend pala! Anyway, I went through the task of searching every ___ in friendster. I hardly recognized him when I saw his picture.
It felt very weird.
He seems happy so I didn't dare do any move (Ok fine. Considered move na ang i-view siya!)
After staring at his picture for awhile I realized I've hurt him so much.
I can't say sorry. I don't want to bother his life ever again. I guess I'm writing this blog because I feel, I hope my choice of words give justice to the feeling, still attached to him.
We used to be close. Very close.
Then he left and asked me to wait.
But... you know me. I hate waiting.
Hmmm.
I read his shoutout which says alot about love being like tissue paper. You only realize most of it was wasted on shit after you take the last from the roll.
Siyempre inandaran ako ng pagka-feelingerang echosera ko.
I had to reply through my own shoutout (feeling ako yung tinatamaan. Sosme!)
I hate that I have to write about him. I had more significant stories like how my dog Steve was attacked AGAIN by a pitbull (favorite?) and was rushed to the hospital for surgery (Thank God he has 9 lives like his cat friends. But I hope he won't be attacked again. You should've seen me nag like a single mom and make a scene in front of the neighbors after my dog was bitten.
Well, I'm swerving from the topic already.
And before I end this blog... I remember the last message I sent him before he left...
"If you see me walking the road with someone else, its not because I like that person's company, its because you weren't brave enough to walk beside me.
If you hear me talking about that person all the time, its not because that person pleases me, its because you were too deaf to hear my heart beat.
If you feel me falling for someone new, its not because I love that person, its because you weren't there to catch me as I fall."
***I HAVE TO. I have to write this so it won't rot in my system.
YES. I'm letting you go. If you should know...
NO. I didn't cry while writing.
WE'RE BOTH FREE.
